WestConnex is catering for a growing city. WestConnex is a joint venture between Lendlease, Samsung and Bouygues. WestConnex is a part of an integrated transport plan to keep Sydney moving – easing congestion, creating jobs and connecting communities.
WestConnex has achieved:
- Widening the M4 between Parramatta and Homebush, creating an even faster way to bypass 28 sets of traffic lights on Parramatta Road.
- Extending the M4 in twin underground tunnels from Homebush to Haberfield.
- Creating smoother road surfaces and new access points to the New M4 between Parramatta and Homebush.
- Lengthening the on and off-ramps at the King Georges Road M5 interchange, providing more capacity and reducing congestion for motorists.
We at Building Dilapidations are proud of our contribution to WestConnex. We have had the opportunity to inspect 4500+ properties that are in close-vicinity of the construction of WestConnex, to help to keep Sydney moving, one project at a time.
