Abergeldie was engaged by Wollongong City Council as head contractor for construction of an extension of the existing Fowlers Road from its intersection with Princess Highway to the Fairwater Drive/Daisy Bank Drive roundabout. The Fowlers Road to Fairwater Drive Link is one of a number of key road improvements that council undertook as part of the much broader West Dapto Access Strategy. This strategy provided bridges, roads and shared paths to improve access during periods of flood, reduce congestion and provide better connections for West Dapto’s growing population.
Building Dilaps was involved in the dilapidation inspections of over 160 properties and 1.2km of roadway in Dapto as an apart of the West Dapto Access Strategy.
